JJ R0X (previously recognised as JJ Rosa) is an accomplished song-writer, multi-instrumentalist (known for her lead electric guitar playing skills), a captivating live performer and leading front woman (powerhouse vocal chops at the forefront!) as well as innovative music producer.

Manchester born n’ bred, but now resides in SW London, UK, where she recently finished building her own music studio.

Collabs with sync and brand agencies such as DLMDD, SISTER Music (UK) + Pure Sync (UK), JJ is getting her name out there as an exciting up and coming writer/producer for TV; having achieved several advert and commercial syncs in the past.

A brief history… JJ began playing piano and writing songs at the age of 7, where she studied classically, reaching grade 8 at 14. Although this path could've been a journey JJ embarked on, the classical world was far from her true roots and influences. Her love of soul/rock/pop and hiphop was where JJ felt more at home.

JJ began learning the electric guitar when she first discovered Jimi Hendrix and a bit later Prince. Through teen-hood JJ had an eclectic music taste, in one breath listening to bands such as Nirvana and The Foo Fighters, in the next the likes of Lauryn Hill and Eminem! Not forgetting the array of Motown and Soul greats J grew up listening to as a child too.

Being one of the very few female lead electric guitarists worldwide to be backed by guitar giants Fender, plus other musical leaders Yamaha, who are pushing JJ as not only one of their leading female guitar ambassadors, but now for her music production talents too!

JJ’s worked with some of the biggest names in music... From opening performances for Dionne Warwick and Lulu over at Harlem's Carnegie Hall in NYC to supporting The Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder in more recent years…

It’s from these years of stepping in and out of studios working with such incredible pioneers that JJ has really honed her craft as not just an artist, musician and song-writer but also as a music producer.

Having had a very keen and inquisitive ear for production since a teenager, JJ has been referred to as a bit of a ‘mad professor’ whilst working on projects. Hopping from instrument to instrument - writing and laying down ideas at record speeds and tapping through Logic X like it’s a video game!

Years of experience in the industry, having been originally signed with the majors at the tender age of 18, JJ ain't no novice to the rollercoaster ride that be the music industry and has many a life lesson under her belt because of it.
